Infant massage is a perfect way to bond with your baby. With roots in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine, it can be a great way for you to provide therapeutic relief and a sense of comfort for your infant. Regular massages can improve digestion and immune function, help your baby with sleep, and support healthy sensory development and body awareness.
Techniques are simple and effective, and you’ll find the massages to be incredibly nurturing for both you and your baby. In this one-hour class, we’ll practice specific strokes and movement techniques for different areas of the body and learn to follow your baby’s lead in adapting the massage. This is a small, semi-private class geared toward any caregiver, be it, mom, dad, grandparents, aunties and uncles, or babysitters.
